$30 per person - includes 2 adult drinks!
Elton & Pearl's ( https://www.facebook.com/eltonandpearls/ ) will host artist Luke Taft’s next “Bent Paint”- Paint Night for Adults on Saturday, June 3, at 306 St Johns Ave.. In Palatka. “This is not a traditional painting class”, said Taft, “actually it is not even really a class as much as a fun night out painting a creative out-of-the-box masterpiece.” All supplies will be set up and ready to go. This includes acrylic paint, a set of brushes, an easel, painting pallet, and a stretched and primed canvas. The fun will begin at 7 PM and go until 9. The cost is $30 per person. Participants are welcome to bring snacks and their favorite evening beverage. Capacity for each paint night is only 15 people, so you are encouraged to round up a group of friends and grab your spots as soon as possible. If you have a larger group, arrangements can be made to accommodate them in the future.
Pre-payment is required
“Bent Paint” will break out of the norm of painting picturesque landscapes, underwater fish scenes, and impressionism replicas. The subjects will be fresh, post-modern mixtures of styles that border on surreal visual interpretations of contemporary ideas and themes- paintings that make you go “hmmmm”. Come empty handed, and leave with your own finished painting that will impress you and your friends with your artistic insight. No experience is necessary. Step-by-step instruction will be given in a way that shows how to accomplish the theme and leave room for your own creative twist.
Taft has a degree in fine art from the University of New Mexico and teaches all sorts of art classes for adults and youth. With “Bent Paint”, Taft wants to provide more of a fun recreational experience than an academic art course. To sign up yourself or a group, or for more info, contact Luke at (386) 972-4003.
You may pay securely here by credit or debit or at Elton & Pearls, 306 St Johns Ave, Palatka FL.
